About the Toyota Crown
The Crown has been Toyota's top sedan in Japan for decades and was never sold new in this form in Australia. Most cars we import are the S210 (2012 to 2018) and the S220 (2018 to 2022) generations.
The 2.5 litre hybrid is the most common choice: smooth, quiet and economical. There are also 2.0 litre turbo and 3.5 litre hybrid versions. Most are rear-wheel drive.
Typical equipment includes leather or part-leather seats, a large screen, safety systems and a comfortable ride. RS grades have a sportier look and suspension.
When choosing one, look at the auction grade and the auction sheet, the service history where available and, for a hybrid, the battery report.
